Language of courses

The course delivery and content will be in English.  However most of our technical courses can also be delivered in Italian for 4 or more participants. Examples of tools and educational resources will be given in all official EU languages where possible.

Methodology

AcrossLimits will be holding these set of courses for the 13th year running and thanks to the success of the previous years have added new elements and tools into all programs.

Our courses encourage the use of creativity and evaluating strategies of varies tools used. It also encourages development of partnerships with other educators attending the course from around Europe.

At the end of each day, participants are encouraged to evaluate their learning amongst each other, and together develop an implementation plan to disseminate what they have learned in their respective institutions.

Further to our involvement hands on in the European e-learning community we are also running several projects in this area from both the Research and Educational programmes using innovative technologies.

The methodology during the course will be a mix of pedagogical explanations coupled with hands-on practice of tools to allow teachers and participants to get as much experience as possible in using various tools that help in the creation of a holistic e-learning environment.

The areas to be focused on include both transferring course materials to online modules, doing tests & quizzes online, simulations and games, multimedia, creating information reference materials and educational Web 2.0 communities. Best practice examples of educational resources will also be given during the course.  Detailed and practical ideas of how to blend traditional and online courses will be given throughout using the examples from the real participating attendees.

Location of course

Courses are located in Hamrun, which is 5 min out of Valletta, and very central on the island

Evaluation and Certification

How we evaluate:
